Friends of Florida Folk, Inc. was created to: Identify, protect, preserve, encourage

and promote folk arts, crafts, dance and music.

Advise and assist government agencies, public and private organizations, schools

and institutions in matters pertaining to the protection, preservation, and performance

of folk traditions;
Educate the public in folk culture by encouraging, publicizing, sponsoring and

producing newsletters, films, tapes, records, festivals, and other events.

Support the efforts of organizations that directly attend to the folk traditions of

Florida, via music, folk craft or arts, especially towards this form of education of

the youth in Florida.

The Friends of Florida Folk, Inc. provides an accessible website to learn about the locations of the many festivals and events held in the State of Florida.

FOFF relies on volunteers to provide support for many of its projects and activities

that benefit the artists/musicians in Florida.
