Sunshine Music Camp

An innovative multi-generational, experiential-gathering/camp for musicians and wannabe musicians of all ages. It is a wonderful opportunity to jump in and explore creating music on all levels through valuable workshops, jams, open mic, etc.

This is a wonderful opportunity to develop skills, try out an instrument or try different instruments, work on performing, and get an inside track to creating your own songs and music.

Beginning/Early learner players encouraged and welcome!

*Located in beautiful old downtown Bradenton Florida, This venue is welcoming and is in walking distance to the historic Pier 22 and within blocks of the famed Bishop Museum of Science & Nature.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

There are a number of hotels, motels and campgrounds available in Bradenton area. You will want to get your reservations in early wherever you choose.

INSTRUMENTS: We encourage you to bring your own instrument(s) - we have a number of instruments, children through adult sizes, to lend out for the 2 days including: banjo, guitar, fiddle/violin, various percussion instruments, ukulele soprano through baritone sizes. Please let us know if you would need to borrow an instrument.

If you are bringing *instrument(s) you haven’t played for a while or you need help to tune them, come early on Friday afternoon to see if we can get them ready and to make sure they are playable for camp.

*We request that you bring your own HARMONICA if you plan to take that class/session.
